Welcome to Tipperary, it may be a long way, but it's certainly worth the journey. Tipperary is the largest inland county in Ireland and it's central position in Southern Ireland makes it the ideal touring base.
Tipperary hosts many historical sites of interest, including "The Rock of Cashel", which was once the seat of the Kings of Munster,

"Cahir Castle", a wonderfully preserved Norman castle dating from the twelfth century.

There are also numerous old abbeys, norman tower-houses and prehistoric monuments. Tipperary is also home to many natural sites of interest including; The Glen of Aherlow, Mitchelstown Caves, Vee Valley, and many more.
