Air Travel

New Flights:

New flights from Aer Lingus include Cork to Munich, Faro, Rome and Nice starting the 26th of April.

Easyjet will be flying from Cork, Shannon and Knock to London Gatwick from the 29th of January.

Hapag Lloyd Express will be flying from Shannon to Cologne/Bonn from the 12th of March.

American Airlines will be flying twice daily from Chicago to Dublin and from Boston to Shannon starting in May.

Ryanair has announced Shannon Airport as its 12th major European base, and will be commencing new flights to London Luton, London Gatwick, Nottingham, Barcelona, Dusseldorf, Hamburg, Milan and Stockholm starting on the 3rd of May. Ryanair will also be flying from Knock to London Gatwick from 19th January and from Cork to Liverpool starting on 26th April.

Egg Nog

Ingredients:
1 pint brandy
1/2 pint rye whiskey
1/2 pint Jamaica rum
1/4 pint sherry
8 eggs
12 Tbsp sugar
1 qt milk
1 qt cream

Directions:

Mix liquors first, then separate yolks and whites of eggs. Beat yolks and add sugar, mixing well. Add liquor to mixture slowly, continuing to beat. Add milk and cream, slowly beating. Beat whites of eggs until stiff and fold slowly into mixture. Chill thoroughly.
